A Secret for You
*October 24, 2007
I don't know how to play Minesweeper.
I've tried. A lot. But I've never understood it. There are bombs, and there are numbers, and somehow the numbers are supposed to keep me from finding the bombs. But they don't. Make. Any. Sense. To me.
And don't try to explain it to me. Many have tried, and all have failed. And not only have they failed, most of them also walked away from the conversation wondering how well they understood the game themselves, and if the game really does make any sense at all. And a few walked away, I'm pretty sure, questioning the entire meaning of life.
But I can play the socks off of Mahjong. And Sudoku. So don't worry too much about me. I'm not, you know, completely desolate.

Me either :-(
It's just nonsensical. You click and click, and randomly explode.

I don't even like the game, but this post does makes me desperately want to explain it to you.

Am I pathetic if I've never tried ANY of those?
But just so you know, I totally kick butt at Wheel of Fortune.
Ha!
