Good thing it's only fake money.

Now the Guitar Hero Sickness has spread to songs I've never played but would very much like to.

I hear "Slide" by the Goo Goo Dolls for the first time in perhaps years and think to myself, you know, I bet that picking part in the beginning would be really challenging. Listening to "It Looks Like Love" by Josh Rouse, all I can hear is the bass line. I would totally nail that, I think.

Totally.

Battling Chad

(Picture taken at Ry's apartment. I'm sorry, Ry. I love your Superman poster, but I want Teh Internets to know that IT IS NOT MINE.)

Ry says that we can download more songs with the money we earn on the road. Our band, Assholy, (named by Chad) has been selling out venues. We are pros at the Star Power whammy. I've expended considerable effort telling myself that the songs they provide will do. But no. Today I realized that they will not do.

We will spend our hard-earned cash on MORE 90s ALTERNATIVE.

Find It In:

spring, you're probably not a fan of south park, but right after the new guitar hero came out, they did an episode about it, and it is one of the funniest things i've ever seen. if by some off chance you have the opportunity to see it, i think you should.

You look so cute with that 'guitar' in hand!! And it's so sweet, you're the Guitar Hero couple! How adorable! ;-) Teasing, sorry. I felt it was in order.

Oh man we love Guitar Hero. I got Tyler GH 3 for Christmas but then we got the wii and it has been terribly neglected. We have it on the ps2 though so we can't download new songs :( Tyler is much better than I am, he can nail songs on Expert, it's nuts. I prefer Medium-Hard. It is fun to play together, our family makes fun but it gives us an activity to do together!

I felt like a dork at Christmas when a coworker was going on and on telling me about this Guitar Hero thing like it was common knowledge. At the end of the conversation I said, "so... tell me what it is exactly?" Man, am I out of the loop. Luckily, my brother in law is a newly reformed GH addict and he let me play his over the holidays. My one and 1/2 year old nephew even likes to sit in dad's chair with the guitar on his lap. Its cute, but kind of creepy at the same time.
