My acting debut.

*

January 11, 2008

My company made a film for the TracyLocke Film Contest. And I was in it. For about two seconds.

This probably won't make any sense to any of you because you didn't see last year's film, and you're not familiar with the parameters of the film contest, and you don't really know any of the people I work with, so the subtle humor will probably be lost.

But the fact remains that this is, indeed, my acting debut. Right around 1:55.

Enjoy.

Also, yesterday was De-lurking Day, and I missed it because I was too busy yammering on about politics. I'm done now, I promise. So after you watch this video, DE-LURK! Pretty please. Tell me a little bit about yourself. I'm in love with all my readers, even if I don't know the extent of it yet.

Find It In:

whatcha wanna know? hmm...all the boring stuff you can find out on the blog. that leaves the interesting stuff...which is characteristically absent from my head.

how about these three beauties:
1. i cannot stand it when people use the word irregardless because...guess what...it's not a real word. grr.
2. i basically live in $2 old navy flip flops...tacky as that may be, they are heaven for the feet.
3. i have a dream of living in every region of the united states, but i don't know if it will ever happen.

oh...and i go through non-capitalizing times. ironic for an english major, eh? it's my small little rebellion in an otherwise MLA-driven world.

take care--i LOVE your blog!

I have been a lurker for the past while. I still read. I just haven't had a chance to comment much. I still love your blog, and I'm glad you're still writing!

Were you actually screaming, or was that a track?

Also: you were in the credits! You better add this to your resume.

Alright, I must be missing the humor in the rest of it, but when I got to your part I cracked up! It was the best part of the whole thing! Now go to Hollywood and become rich and famous. And while you're at it show them how to be classy!

Happy delurking day - and nice work on your acting debut. ;) Hrm.... I get tired very easily. As in, it's 9pm and I feel like I've been up for YEARS.

Hi! Delurking! A little about me, hmmm, thirtysomething in Dallas. Have lived in Lake Tahoe, Seattle and New York City. I try to view life as one big adventure and love to share that with the world. Cheers!

I've commented before, but just wanted to say hi, I still read! Also, I know for a fact that one of my friends consistently reads because she told me that she really likes your blog in particular. But I'm impressed when she comments on mine, so just wanted to pass that along because you probably won't be hearing from her!

Love it! And great job on your part. The drama, the fear in your eyes -- excellent.

I smell an Oscar!

Nice screaming- I really felt your fear. Also, I'm not really a lurker but I feel like it's important to leave a comment anyway. Because not leaving a comment on de-lurking week is pretty much the worst thing a human being can do.

Something about me...I hate fish. And once, when I was babysitting with a friend she convinced the child we were watching to eat her chicken fingers before going to bed. I commented on how great the chicken fingers were. Then my friend told me that they were fish sticks.

So, in short- I am not very observant and apparently I have no tastebuds.

Okay---I'll delurk too. Fine.
We know of each other in real life. I'm from Tulsa and we also went to the same University as you, although I'm about 4 years older. I've commented and de-lurked before, but it was awhile ago. I've been reading your blog since your very first post on xanga and check it daily right when I get back from lunch, along with "go fug yourself" and "dooce". (Yes, that's a compliment!)

Hi Spring, I'm Lauren. I've been reading your blog since you were on xanga. I know, I'm late. I missed the Day after De-Lurking Day too, aparently. I so enjoy your blog! ~ L

Hey girl - I finally caught up on your blog. Hudson LOVED the fact that a dragon was coming to get you. We had to watch that part 7 times. Hopefully never again....
