Sam: Is it bad that in the Democratic primary if there's two people I don't recognize I pick the name that sounds whiter?
Me: I guess it depends on how you define "bad." Racist, yes. Ignorant, yes. Unprecedented, no.
Sam: So what do you do if it's two names you don't recognize? Who do you pick?
Me: Well, usually they've got Ds and Rs beside them, don't they? Vote by party, my friend.
Sam: No, in the Democratic party primary, is what I said.
Me: Ah. I don't know, but I'm blogging this shit.
