me: Looks like Texas is going to matter after all.
samkite: yea
samkite: and she's got texas
samkite: i think
me: haha
me: We'll see.

I went to bed last night hoping that I'd wake up, watch the news, and be either 1. angry and prepare my documents to apply for a passport already, my God, how do I not have a passport already? or 2. happy and prepare to spend hundreds of dollars on Obama paraphernalia. In a way it ended up being the latter because at least it's not #1, and Obama needs all the support he can get especially now, but honestly, could Super Tuesday have been any more anti-climactic? Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of clarity today?

I suppose, in the very least, I can be glad that it's not likely Huckabee will be writing God into the constitution any time soon.

Onward to March 4th. I'll be the girl wearing an Obama button every day for the next four weeks.

Find It In:

Go Obama!

you should always have a passport, just in case! And a resident visa! plus, it gives you an excuse to go pick out your weekend home in Brittany.

Ohmigah. I was on the edge my seat the whole night. THE WHOLE FRIGGIN' NIGHT. We don't have TV, so I was refreshing CNN.com constantly. It was crazy. He did really well, in states he wasn't expected to.

But California messed it all up. California? You're on my list.

It was definitely anticlimactic! I was disappointed. Plus our caucus experience was pure hell. Obama took KS by like 75% though, he has tons of support here! I was surprised by how many states Huckabee took, in some ways I wish he had taken more, because I think he would be easier for a Dem to defeat than McCain. Should be an interesting election year. It feels like more states "count" this year than in the past. Kind of a neat feeling for those of us in the historically unimportant states.
