Sitting at the dining room table, watching passively as Rufus licks a bowl left on the coffee table.
Sarah: Your dog is like a vacuum.
Me: Yeah. Except my floors would be a lot cleaner if he actually were a vacuum.
Sarah: You know what? You should get a goat.
Me: Mmm-hmm. Wait. A goat?
Sarah: Yeah.
Me: Oh. I was thinking something more like ROOMBA.

That cracks me up, because I do kinda think of my roomba as a pet. Maybe it's the fact that it's less vacuum cleaner, more drunken hockey puck careening around the room.

Yeah, but a Roomba doesn't give you chevre. On the plus side, it doesn't poop. Tough call.
