Except That I Can (AND WILL) Legally Drink

Me: So I'm reading amalah.com this weekend, and I realize that she's about thirty! And I'm all, Jesus, I didn't know she was that much older than me. Then I realize, JESUS, I'M ABOUT TO TURN TWENTY-FIVE! She's NOT that much older than me!
Sam: But haven't you heard? Thirty is the new twenty. Which means twenty-five is, like, the new eighteen.

God bless this Sam. Who is he and where can I shower him with affection for calling me age the new 20?
(25 is much different than 30, if it makes you feel any better...I consider you much younger than my old butt...)

I'm glad 25 is the new 18. I'll be able to register to vote again.

funny, because i've always thought of amy as much older than me. but there she is, just six years ahead of me, and all the sudden i realize, HOLY SHIT. MY HUSBAND IS TURNING 27 THIS YEAR. that's not that different. WOAH.

Hehe, that cracks me up.
But for real! Amalah is 30, and it's just so strange to read her blog and get to "see inside the mind" of someone that *wants* a kid. Someone that's *happy* they're pregnant. That just seems like such a foreign concept to me at this point.
Oh well, I will enjoy being 21 while I can. :-) Oh man, that means 21 is the new...16? I don't think I liked that. 16 sucked, once was good enough.

Yes, the big 25 is right around the corner. I'm still not sure how I feel about that. A little older... but still a baby.
Happy birthday tomorrow, pal!

Yea, my best friend turns 30 in December. I teased her for being "old" and then remembered, I'm only, like, 11 months younger. BLAH!!!

Congratulations. Hey, you know I'm not that far behind you...and I'll catch up on the 11th of November.
Actually, according to Koreans' reckoning, I'm currently 26! So I guess I'm even in the lead, at least in Seoul.
