Top Ten Films

*

May 14, 2008

sadiemama tagged me with the onus of naming my top ten films on my blog. Not a difficult one, so I shall oblige (though I'm not tagging anyone, except to say if you feel like it, comment with your favorite films).

Courtney, I haven't forgotten that you've tagged me! I've just had a difficult time coming up with six random things. :) I'll keep thinking, though.

For dramatic flair, I'm counting down. Also, if you look closely, you might find some themes.

10. The Graduate
9. (Baz Luhrman's) Romeo+Juliet
8. The Virgin Suicides
7. Pleasantville
6. The Darjeeling Limited
5. Little Miss Sunshine
4. i heart huckabees
3. Lost in Translation
2. The Royal Tenenbaums
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Find It In:

my favorites are

fight club
magnolia
the departed
american beauty
who framed roger rabbit

Did you read the book the Virgin Suicides? I just gave it away last week. It was, hm, so Spring.

Finally someone else who adores Darjeeling. I have tremendous love for this movie while everyone else I know seems to think it is garbage. Wish I had a glass of sweet lime to toast to you!

Ah yes, I forgot that we had the same favorite movie! I've watched Eternal Sunshine at least three times further since coming to Korea. It never gets old. It's probably the only movie I've watched more than three times (I'm up to...10 times now?)
