In times like these,

I find that watching bizarre '70s Sesame Street clips really helps lift my spirits.

This one was a favorite in our house. My mom still, to this day, walks around singing this song occasionally. Except I was a little disappointed to find that the lyrics have distorted somewhat throughout the years. My mom sings it, "Me and my llama / Dressed in striped pajamas / Goin' to the dentist today." I usually prefer misheard lyrics to actual ones, and this case is no different.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I'm still here. Barely, but it counts.

Find It In:

you gotta ask yourself...who sat around and thought of a llama going to the dentist? and then who wrote the song?

somebody awesome, that's who.

hang in there. i don't have any great words of wisdom other than that. sometimes the enduring is the hardest part.

A little Sesame Street can definitely help.

I hope that everything is going better!

At first I didn't remember this one, but then after watching it-- I remember it now.

The one I find myself singing to this day is "The Word is No," "no, no, no, no, no."

Why no "The Word is Yes"?
