While I fancy myself a wannabe writer,

when prodded for a genre I usually confess that I excel only at blogging and e-mailing. I've tried the other stuff, and it doesn't work for me. My poetry is unoriginal, my fiction unimaginative, my journalism uninformed. One might argue that e-mail and blogging are not legitimate writing genres, and one may technically be correct. But to that person, I stick my fingers in my ears, wave them around, and say look! I can do both! Right here! Magic is happening!

We're breaking the rules of traditional media one keystroke at a time!

So let me know what you think. About this blog, about writing, about life in general. Because e-mail is the second of my two genres, it's likely that I will respond post haste and lavishly. Since--wait, let me check--yeah, I've got a lot of time.

ESPECIALLY FOR YOU!
